A Celebration of Innovation and
Sustainability
The Go
Green STEAM Project Competition 2025 was a remarkable event showcasing the
creativity and dedication of young minds towards a sustainable future. Held at Peshawar
Model Schools, this year’s competition brought together students from
multiple campuses, along with participants from IIUI Warsak Road Branch
and Safia Homes, in a spirited display of eco-friendly innovations.
With the theme
“Innovate for a Greener Tomorrow”, students from Grade V to
O Level I presented groundbreaking projects addressing environmental
challenges through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics
(STEAM). The event aimed to foster scientific thinking, problem-solving
skills, and environmental consciousness among students.
Judges Panel
The projects were evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges, who provided insightful feedback and encouragement to the participants:
- Lecturer Haseeb Ul Hassan – Government Superior Science College, Peshawar
- Lecturer Faaiz Ul Hassan – Government Superior Science College, Peshawar
Their expertise in biological sciences helped in assessing the scientific accuracy and sustainability of the projects.
MIP O Level Students: The Backbone of Event Management
A special mention goes to the dedicated students of MIP, PMS Boys I and PMS Girls V O Level Programme, who played a vital role in organising, managing, and facilitating the competition. Their leadership and teamwork ensured the smooth execution of the event, from guiding participants and assisting judges to managing audience engagement activities. Their commitment truly reflected the spirit of innovation and responsibility.
Event Highlights
The event featured a Speaker Session, where esteemed guests shared valuable insights on sustainability and innovation. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, including the Vision Wall 2050, where students shared their aspirations for a greener planet.
The Audience Choice Award allowed attendees to vote for their favorite project, creating an interactive and engaging experience for everyone present.
